Imelda is an immigration caseworker. She completed her undergraduate degree in law at the University of Birmingham before going on to complete the Bar Professional Training Course in Bristol. Imelda has also completed the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
Imelda has worked on both publicly and privately funded cases. Her experience ranges from asylum claims to spouse visas, EEA applications, deportation and appeals.
Imelda has spent several months travelling in Spain, to cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Cuenca, Granada, Toledo and Ibiza. She can therefore speak conversational Spanish.
In her free time, Imelda enjoys travelling, dancing (kizomba), attending festivals, trips to the cinema, reading and weather permitting, jogging.
